Welcome Micaela Salas to OSFA

Micaela worked in the Office of Student Financial Aid as a FASTrack/BANNER Peer Advisor, but began her new position of Advisor on March 26. She completed her bachelor’s degree at UW–Madison in 2012, majoring in Social Welfare and American Indian Studies. During her time as an undergraduate student she worked as an information specialist for the Office of Student Financial Aid. Micaela is now back at the university working on her Master’s degree in Social Work. She was born and raised on the Bad River Reservation and tries to visit as much as possible. During her time off from school she worked as a case manager for Indian Child Welfare on her home reservation. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her two beautiful children, her 5 year old son Ari Yovani, and 2 year old daughter Vivian. They keep her very active and busy but she wouldn’t have it any other way. Welcome, Micaela!
