On Thursday, August 27, Student Financial Aid hosted our annual Bucky’s Pell Pathway (BPP) and BANNER in-person Orientations in Shannon Hall at the Memorial Union, welcoming our newest cohort of students. The event provided important information about financial aid, program expectations, and campus resources designed to support student success.

We connected with 1,490 students at orientation, with BPP achieving over 86% attendance and BANNER exceeding 82% attendance. BPP attendance was among the highest we have seen in years, potentially even surpassing pre-COVID participation levels. Students were highly engaged, asking thoughtful questions and demonstrating a strong interest in understanding their financial aid and the opportunities available to them.

We continue outreach efforts with a goal of connecting with 100% of incoming BPP and BANNER Promise Program students before the end of the year.
