Annual Benefits Enrollment until October 25

Annual Benefits Enrollment (ABE) is the period September 30 to October 25, 2019, in which you can make changes to certain benefits without having an eligible life event (examples include marriage, birth, divorce). These changes are effective January 1, 2020. All enrollments and changes can be made via MyUW portal. Review your current benefits (MyUW Portal, click on Benefit Information panel) and visit the UW–Madison and UW System ABE websites: Attend the Benefits & Resource Fair

The following benefit plans require that you enroll each year to participate. If you would like to participate in one of these plans, you need to enroll/re-enroll through Self Service:
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSAs): Health Care FSA, Limited Purpose FSA, Dependent Day Care
  • Health Savings Account (HAS) requires you to re-enroll every year you are enrolled in a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP)
  • State Group Health Insurance Opt-Out Incentive
