RO welcomes Jeff Kirschling

Welcome to our new Associate Registrar of Compliance, Reporting and Eligibility Services (CRES), Jeff Kirschling. Jeff Kirschling began his role as the Associate Registrar of Compliance, Reporting and Eligibility Services (CRES) in late September 2019. Jeff possesses 20+ years of experience in registration and records management across the UW System, most recently at UW-Superior where he was the registrar for the last five years. His experience with strategic planning, continuous assessment, and technological implementations will be huge assets to our office.  One of the new areas under Jeff’s purview is Transfer Credit Services. Credit evaluation services will receive a re-energized focus in the Division of Enrollment Management, with its transition to the Office of the Registrar. While transfer credit remains a recruitment tool, this transition more closely aligns with the mission of the respective offices and will improve the effectiveness of the services both OUA and the RO offer.
