DEM Smart Restart Action Items
On August 13, team members received their planning work assignments (onsite or remote) until at least January 20, as well as a list of action items to complete (regardless of status).
All DEM Team Members, both onsite and remote, must:
- Read and follow the COVID-19 Workplace Safety Policy
- Successfully complete the COVID-19 Workplace Training
- Complete/Update the DEM Telecommute Inventory
- If you already completed back in March, you do not need to take it unless you have additional equipment not previously reported.
- If you have already submitted, but need to update, please include your entire inventory as your previous response will be deleted.
- Answer health questions in the COVID-19 Symptom Tracker every day before onsite work
- Complete the DEM Onsite Team Members Log every day you worked onsite
- Read and follow the Public Health Protocols
- Physical Distancing: Stay 6 feet away from other people when possible.
- Face Coverings: Wear a reusable cloth face covering or a single-use disposable mask when you are in:
- Any campus building
- University vehicles
- Campus buses
- Outdoor spaces when you cannot keep physical distance.
- You do not need a face covering if you are alone in a private space (office, lab, mechanical space, etc.).
- Continued Self-Monitoring: Check yourself for COVID-19 symptoms every day before you go to work and when you are at work.
- Handwashing: Keeping hands clean is important to help prevent COVID-19 from spreading. Wash your hands frequently throughout the day. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. Always wash your hands before and after eating.
- Clean the DEM space you occupied (i.e. cubicle, office, conference room, etc.)
- Focus on table tops, door handles, chairs and any other spot likely touched.
- Disinfectant wipes are available in your units (contact Angie/Cori/Nancy/Jeremy for locations)
- Follow any unit specific cleaning protocol (ex. OSFA conference room usage)
