Inclement Weather Guidelines

While the majority of us our working from home this winter, we still wanted you to be aware of the inclement weather guidelines published by campus.  Also, just to clarify a few things:
  1. Dropping ice cubes on the floor that leads to your work space at home and saying it is too icy to get to work, would not be considered inclement weather.
  2. Moving your work space at home to the your neighbors house and then claiming there is too much snow for you to get “to work” would not be considered under the inclement weather policy.
  3. Putting your computer in your freezer and saying the weather is too cold for you to go to work is again, not going to be considered under the inclement weather guidelines.
  4. Taking advantage of your once beautiful outdoor work space that is now covered in a foot of snow and saying the weather is too cold for you to go to work is not going to be considered under the inclement weather guidelines.
In all seriousness, if you do have to go to campus and the weather is less than ideal, please work with your supervisor on how to best accomplish the work that needs to get done. Questions? Contact Ann Bradshaw or Paula Gates.
