Acknowledging Amazing Student Work
Tess Iding, one of Student Services’ two Student Program Coordinators, was nominated for a 2020-2021 Student Employee of the Year award. While not ultimately selected for the award, we remain proud of Tess and her contributions within the office, the classroom and beyond.
Tess’ strong organizational and leadership skills were instrumental in the transition from in-person to remote work. In Summer 2020, Tess single-handedly managed the flow and organization of a high-volume inbox while training and onboarding two freshmen team members. Tess has an impressive record of extra-curricular involvement and currently serves as President of She’s the First, an organization that aims to support quality girls’ education worldwide, specifically for girls who are first in their families to graduate high school. As a senior Communication Arts and Political Science major, Tess is actively exploring post-graduation plans/options and hopes to work in the non-profit sector. We are glad to have Tess and continue to be extremely proud of her.
