Face Covering De-Escalation Training

Recently DEM invited UWPD Community Officers Jake Lepper and Barrett Erwin to train the DEM Team on face covering de-escalation. Jake and Barrett talked about general tips for interacting with the public, your safety, and how to react if a person becomes hostile. Thank you to everyone who attended! You can still view the training online here. If you and your team are interested in a more in-depth de-escalation training, Jake and Barrett want to talk to you.  Please feel free to contact them at: Jake Lepper:  jake.lepper@wisc.edu Barrett Erwin:  barrett.erwin@wisc.edu
