Inclement Weather Guidelines

While many team members continue to work partially remote or fully remote, we wanted you to be aware of the inclement weather guidelines published by campus .  Also, just to clarify a few things:
  1. Dropping ice cubes on the floor that leads to your workspace at home and saying it is too icy to get to work, would not be considered inclement weather.
  2. Moving your workspace at home to the neighbor’s house and then claiming there is too much snow for you to “get to work” would not be considered under the inclement weather policy.
  3. Taking advantage of your once beautiful outdoor workspace that is now covered in a foot of snow and saying the weather is too cold for you to go to work is not going to be considered under the inclement weather guidelines.
  4. Spraying the sidewalk with water that then freezes and saying it is too icy to get to work, would not be considered inclement weather.
  5. Icicles hanging from your rooftop in front of your door and claiming it is too hazardous to leave the building would not be considered under the inclement weather policy.
In all seriousness, if you do have to go to campus and the weather is less than ideal, please work with your team lead on how to best accomplish the work that needs to get done.
