Welcome Kate & Heather – November 2018

Welcome to Kate Kurek & Heather Ferguson who joined the Curricular & Academic Management Services team within the Office of the Registrar on November 15, 2018. Kate Kurek has joined the Office of the Registrar as our next Curricular Outreach Coordinator! Kate previously was an advisor on campus with Cross College Advising Service (CCAS) and the Undergraduate & Graduate Program Coordinator within the Department of Nutritional Sciences at UW–Madison. That position included curricular rep, admissions, and course evaluation, and room reservation responsibilities. Heather Ferguson joined the Office of the Registrar as a Curricular Specialist and Special Events Coordinator. As part of the curricular team, she’ll be our special events coordinator, manage the final exams calendar, lead many of our audits, and serve as a primary contact for some of our School/College campus curricular representatives. Heather joins us most recently from the Center for the First Year Experience (CFYE) where she served as the Coordinator of Orientation – Operations for nearly 5 years. She’s also served as a CP 125 Instructor on campus. Prior to UW–Madison she has worked at Kishwaukee College (in the Office of Admissions, Registration, and Records), Western Illinois University, and Northern Illinois University.
