OAR Staff Elected to Organization Leadership Positions

Congratulations to members of OAR recently elected to leadership positions within their organizations: Michael Rutkowski was elected treasurer of WACAC (the Wisconsin Association for College Admission Counseling). WACAC is the state-level affiliate of NACAC and brings college admissions and high school counseling personal together. Their primary objective is to help students in Wisconsin to prepare for and assist with their chosen post-secondary school journey.  He will serve a three-year term helping the organization manage their resources. Ashley Swengler was elected to the Executive Board of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Counselor Association (MARCA) by her peers. As Director of Eastern PA & NJ, she is the point of contact for school counselors in Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey, plans and executes events within the territory, maintains an up-to-date contact list of counselors in the territory, assigns committee members to assist with events, and works with the other directors in MARCA. Two members of the Global Initiatives Team applied to be on International ACAC Committees and were selected to serve for the next several years. Sarah Woller will be on the Advocacy and Outreach Committee and Blaine Harvey will be serving on the Communications Committee.
