The SMPH Financial Aid and Financial Wellness Team was thrilled to welcome our first- and second-year medical students to campus for the 2024-2025 academic year! The team was able to play an instrumental role in helping our medical students feel welcomed and informed on what to expect this year.
We were able to have encouraging conversations about financial consciousness as it pertains to smart loan borrowing, spending plan management, and overall bettering their relationships with money. Ketzhally Lopez provided an overview of financial aid and financial wellness to our Med*Star participants and served as a great point of contact for this niche group of first-year medical students. Jorge Zuniga and Brianne Camacho were able to assist with relationship building and connections over lunch with our second-year medical students. The team as a whole is inspired and charged for what is starting out to be a great year filled with lots of smiles over at the HSLC!
