No Fees presented to a National Audience for the second time

Lo Klink and Justin Mumford presented on the No Fees Project at the National Scholarship Providers Association annual conference in Salt Lake City, UT, on October 16, 2024. The No Fees Project focuses on creating access to students experiences.  The cost of attendance is one thing, but have you thought about the cost of student experiences? Campus activities and experiences have varying costs and are often out of reach for our lowest income students. The University of Wisconsin–Madison has launched an innovative initiative aimed at removing financial barriers surrounding participation in campus activities with a goal of boosting a student’s sense of belonging on our campus. Through partnerships, fundraising, scholarships and data sharing, we have increased participation in a number of campus activities and experiences for financially vulnerable students.  The website for the No Fees Project website: https://financialaid.wisc.edu/services/no-fees-project/ .
