Leave Reminders as we Approach the End of the Fiscal Year 2025 (June 30, 2025) for Academic Staff, University Staff and Limited Team Members

  • Legal Holidays—There are 9 days of paid legal holidays during the fiscal year July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.
    • All leave-eligible team members (Academic Staff, University Staff, and Limited) should have a current balance of 8 hours of Legal Holiday that will automatically be added for Memorial Day (Monday, May 25, 2025).
    • If you worked on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, you may have a balance of 16 hours of Legal Holiday so you should use the extra 8 hours of floating Legal Holiday prior to June 30, 2025.
  • Vacation Carryover—Vacation Carryover balances need to be used by June 30, 2025 or they will be lost.
  • Personal Holiday—Personal Holiday hours need to be used by June 30, 2025 or they will be lost.
  • Vacation—Vacation balances will transfer into the Fiscal Year 2026 and must be used by June 30, 2026.
  • 2026 Fiscal Year starting on July 1, 2025—Academic Staff and Limited Term team members will be allocated 176 hours of Vacation and 36 hours of Personal Holiday for the new 2026 fiscal year. University Staff Vacation hours (amounts based on years of service) and 36 hours of Personal Holiday will be loaded for the 2026 fiscal year.
