In Full Swing: Spring First-Year Admitted Student Events Exceed Expectations

This spring, the Office of Admissions & Recruitment (OAR) hosted our largest yield event to date. The Future Badger Day on April 18, saw 874 total guests and welcomed 364 future badgers. Additional Future Badger Day events were hosted on March 14, 2025 and on April 4, 2025 and welcomed 1,506 total guests including 630 admitted students. OAR hosted two Badgers Belong Days on Saturday, February 15 and Saturday April 12. The February event welcomed 163 guests, including 67 admitted students. The April event welcomed 93 admitted students and a total of 226 guests. On Friday, April 25, OAR hosted their first ever Spring Experience Wisconsin Open House event that included special admitted student programming. The event was an enormous success, despite the rain, welcoming a total of 1,139 visitors which included 339 prospective students, 150 admitted students, and their guests. OAR also hosted a number of regional Admitted Student Information Session in Long Island, Southern California, Greenwich, Atlanta, Boston, South Florida, and New Jersey that served 512 total guests. Additionally, Admitted Student Information Sessions were held abroad in Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Jakarta, Sao Paulo, along with Admitted Student One-on-Ones in Istanbul and Doha. The Transfer Admitted Student Day takes place on Friday, May 2.
