Kudos for Katie – October 2018

Katie Paar received kudos from the Graduate School for accepting and then acting upon their feed-back related to withdrawal information on the RO website. She added a page with step-by-step instructions for how to withdraw from a current term in the My UW Student Center which is also referenced from the withdrawal page at https://registrar.wisc.edu/withdraw/. The https://registrar.wisc.edu/howto/ page also now links to it under the “Course Enrollment using Student Center/Class Search” content (left column, bottom of page). Katie Block and her Graduate School colleagues expressed their appreciation by sharing an e-mail with Katie Paar’s supervisor, Beth Warner, which said “I wasn’t even sure if she was able to help me out with this question/suggestion, but she took it and ran with it and created something that I think will be so helpful to all students, and for faculty/staff to refer students to. I’m just very impressed and appreciative that she took feedback and created a great resource.”
