Assistant Registrar for Student Services position vacancy

The Office of the Registrar is pleased to announce the search for an Assistant Registrar for Student Services. This position will serve as a deputy and advisor to the Associate Registrar for Student Services, is a self-assured, congenial, and productive member of the Registrar’s Leadership Team, collaborating to oversee the strategic direction and operational objectives of the Student Services area. Working independently, the Assistant Registrar will manage the enrollment and tuition assessment team charged with providing point-of-contact customer service functions of the Office of the Registrar in meeting the needs of students, staff, faculty and alumni; management of enrollment, tuition assessment and student record processes within the Student Information System (SIS); collaboration, communications and coordination with other units within the Office of the Registrar, academic advisors, academic deans and school/college representatives to ensure the accurate and timely processing and maintenance of student enrollment, record and tuition assessment updates in SIS; implementation and maintenance of the Course Search & Enroll application; creation and maintenance of tuition assessment tables within the Student Information System in alignment with the UW System Board of Regent-approved tuition rates; interpreting and enforcing UW–Madison, UW System and federal policy, especially related to enrollment, grading, tuition and student records.
