OSFA Completes Pell & Resident Recruitment Campaigns

The Advising & Outreach Team within the Office of Student Financial Aid made calls to 626 prospective students that were packaged with Pell Grant, FASTrack, and Bucky’s Tuition Promise to congratulate students on their admission to UW–Madison and celebrate their financial aid offer. We were also able to share additional details on their aid offer and answer any questions. The Federal Awards Team made calls to 600 prospective students that were pending verification documents to offer help in completing the verification process. The Advising & Outreach and Front Desk Teams made calls to 181 prospective students that were in line to receive financial aid offers, but had not yet been packaged due to their secondary residency applications not yet being submitted. We were able to provide a nudge and guidance through this process while explaining the importance of getting this done so they could receive their aid offers.
