Changes in ‘Cost Compare’ Policy

UW–Madison recently made changes to the policy allowing staff to add personal days of travel onto business-related trips. Cost Comparison (Policy 311 Air Travel Policy) Starting September 1, 2019, any flight booked that includes personal travel will now require a cost comparison directly from Fox World Travel. It is recommended that an entire trip; that includes personal travel; get booked directly with a Fox World Travel agent. It is allowable to book with Concur, but it needs to be done the same day the cost comparison is provided by Fox World Travel. If you have any questions, please contact Kelly Layton before booking travel. Failure to following the policy may impact your ability to get full reimbursement.
