From our Vice Provost

Dear DEM Team, Welcome to the first edition of the DEM Updates!  The goal is to share information about events and activities going on in our respective offices, individually and collectively.  You are our audience and we’d like your feedback on what’s interesting and useful to you as a member of the DEM team.  Once you’ve had a chance to explore the contents, please send any comments you may have.  Special thanks to the cross-campus communication team of Ellen Clark, Greer Davis and Karla Weber for the collaborative work in developing and delivering the newsletter. I look forward to sharing thoughts with you in this space in the future. For now, I want to express the deep gratitude that I, along with Andre Phillips, Scott Owczarek, Terry Ruzicka and Jeremy Traska have for the incredible work that you all do to support and serve our students. With my thanks and appreciation also comes a reminder to make sure to make time for self-care.  Your health and wellness are critical to complete our mission and be sure you’re taking care of you and your loved ones.
