Focus on Bias: 05.2020
The Office of Student Financial Aid distributes a monthly email focused on implicit bias with some videos to watch, articles to read, and other events around campus and the community that we encourage you to attend if your schedule allows.
June is Pride Month. Most Pride events in Wisconsin have been postponed or cancelled due to COVID-19, but we encourage everyone to still take some time in June to learn more about Pride and the LGTBQ+ Community in Madison.
Videos of the Month: First Person – https://www.pbs.org/show/first-person/. This PBS Digital Studies series has short clips about gender identity, sexuality, and the queer community.
