Starting Development on a DARS Audit Updater
The Office of the Registrar’s Degree Audit team, with technical support from DoIT developers, have begun work on a DARS Audit Updater project.
This project involves establishing an automated process by which a DARS report would be run for all active undergraduate students against each of their declared plans on an up-to-daily basis. The value of this project is that the dataset produced through this automated process can be used in operational decision-making and data analyses for both the RO and Schools/Colleges. The RO has already conducted initial focus groups with School/College partners and will continue to work collaboratively with campus colleagues on any future applications of this data, such as data visualizations or reports.
