Admissions Representatives Serve Prospective Students and Families at Union South

In close partnership with Campus and Visitor Relations (CAVR), the Office of Admissions and Recruitment (OAR) is providing an “add-on” admissions Q&A experience for guests who are registered for an in-person walking tour, taking a self-guided tour, or visiting campus on their own. An OAR representative is available to visitors who are interested in and have questions about undergraduate admissions and student life. The CAVR information and tour guides have been very happy to have the OAR team present at Union South to serve students on the tours who often ask to speak with admissions counselors. The CAVR team sees our presence at Union South as extra supportive to visitors and are promoting it not only to tour guests but those calling with questions and considering a visit. At the end of each tour, tour guides highlight our availability. An OAR representative is available on the first floor of Union South Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through August 20. Plans for fall semester are being finalized and fall visit opportunities will be available on Visit Bucky beginning in early August. OAR and CAVR plan to continue this partnership into the 2021-2022 academic year.
