Deadline October 7 – FY21 Banked Leave

If you have not already banked unused vacation from FY21, this is a reminder that you may be eligible to bank hours of unused Vacation into a Paid Leave Bank (formerly known as ALRA). If you have any questions, please reach out to Paula Gates.
  • Team members have been notified, through HRS self-service, of your eligibility to bank into your Paid Leave Bank. The May DEM Administration Newsletter also provides information in the Annual Banked Leave Conversion Team members can check your eligibility, by going to MyUW and launching the “Time and Absence” module to view your banked leave conversion eligibility. If you are eligible, you can go to “Request Absence” to enter hours you would like to convert to banked leave (see instructions attached and below under Employee Self Service).
Employee Self Service: You are able to enter your leave conversion through ESS similar to entering leave. When the conversion is submitted it will auto-approve and process as long as you qualify and have the hours available to convert. Instructions on how to enter your banked leave through the MyUW portal are attached and available at this link. • As of May 3, 2021, a Months in Service (formerly known as the ALRA counter) balance will be displayed in employee portals under the Time and Absence tile, Absence Balance tab.
