DEM Dialogues with Derek

On January 14th, we hosted our first DEM Dialogue with Derek. Similar to Tea Time with Dean Hess and Office Hours with Lois Brooks, DEM Dialogues with Derek are a monthly optional meeting that are held on the second Friday of the month from 11-11:45am. All DEM Team Members are welcome to attend. During each DEM Dialogue with Derek, we will begin with a brief update (15-20 minutes) about things going on across DEM and then the remainder of the time will be open to discussion for any questions or contributions from the group. All sessions in 2022 will be held via Zoom: Our first DEM Dialogue with Derek had 79 attendees and updates included status of admissions applications, continuing student enrollment, and COVID-19’s impact on the upcoming semester. For future sessions, if you have a topic you’d like to have discussed, a question you’d like answered, or if you would like to suggest a guest speaker, please let us know by completing this brief survey.
