End of an Era: Jira and Confluence will no longer be supported
Do you use Jira or Confluence as part of your job or project tracking? Both platforms will no longer be available after January 31, 2025. Currently, Jira and Confluence are both maintained by DoIT using on-premise servers, which will no longer be an option due to large pricing increases. All users will need to migrate off these services by December 2024. The Director of Student Enterprise Applications and the IT Portfolio Manager will be helping to coordinate the effort around the transition and will be working with each of your areas to identify current uses of the tools. Additionally, the SIS leadership group will be working to identify next steps and develop a transition plan so that we have a smooth changeover. No action is needed at this time, but SIS leadership wanted those that use these services to be made aware of this upcoming change. More information will be shared as it becomes available.
