LEAP in its Fourth Year!

UW–Madison and the Office of student Financial Aid welcomed the 4th cohort of LEAP Forward Interns on June 26^th. The LEAP Forward Internship Program is a 6 week internship for current MMSD Health Sciences Pathways students. LEAP Forward interns gain key hands-on practical experience at host sites across various UW–Madison schools and colleges. They also have the opportunity to learn and grow outside of their work site by participating in a one credit UW–Madison course that includes self-exploration and career exploration. The LEAP Forward Internship is a chance for the students to gain exposure to the health industry while also learning what opportunities exist for them beyond High School whether here at UW–Madison or elsewhere.
