Ellen Clark and Karla Weber Wandel are DEM’s Digital Accessibility Liaisons
In 2021, UW–Madison approved the new Digital Accessibility Policy which went into effect on July 1, 2023. To roll out this policy over the next several years, Division of Information Technology’s (DoIT) Center for User Experience (CUE) organized a network of digital accessibility liaisons to provide consultation and implementation guidance for their units. They are primary points of contact for digital accessibility issues regarding procurement, technical consultations, barrier reporting , and policy compliance. Ellen Clark and Karla Weber Wandel have stepped up to represent DEM in this vital initiative to ensure our digital resources provide an inclusive experience. Thank you, Ellen and Karla!
