Benefits 2024: What You Need to Know

Annual Benefits Enrollment (ABE) is an annual opportunity for eligible employees to enroll in or make changes to most benefit plans for the upcoming calendar year, effective January 1, 2024. ABE takes place from September 25 through October 20, 2023. This is the only time you can make changes to certain benefits without having an eligible life event (for example marriage, birth, or divorce) or qualifying employment change during the year. You can check your current benefits enrollments in MyUW (Benefits Information). All ABE enrollments and changes can be made via your MyUW portal.   Benefits that Require Yearly Enrollment (if you don’t re-enroll in these plans every year during ABE, participation in these plans terminate. They do not automatically continue into the next year).
