WiGROW Mini-Conference, Big Impact

The WiGROW Supervising Students Mini-Conference was held virtually on January 17^th and reached over 50 student supervisors across campus. Workshops included Listening with Purpose: Active Listening to Support Effective Communication; WiGROW Beyond the Basics: A student & supervisor panel; Supporting Students in Crisis & Basic Needs Referrals; and Student Development through Employment & WiGROW. WiGROW is an engagement initiative designed to support the learning of student employees. Supervisors and student employees engage in intentional, reflective conversations each semester, providing students an opportunity to consider connections between their on-campus employment, career goals, and college experience.
