All Things Wait List

As with last year, OAR admitted a small subset of students from the wait list ahead of the confirmation deadline on May 15. Those students also had until May 15 to accept their decision. Our first post-decision deadline release took place on Friday, May 17. 140 applicants were admitted off the wait list. These students were notified via email, Student Center, and congratulatory text, when applicable. Students admitted on May 17 have until Friday, May 24 to accept their offer of admission. These students are eligible for University Housing contracts and must submit those by May 24. Wait list students receive detailed information about their next steps and deadlines. A second post-deadline release from the wait list took place on May 30. 159 first-year student were offered admission from the wait list with a deadline to deposit of June 6. The unranked wait list remains open as we continue to review deposits from the deadline and from students with extensions. Those applicants who accepted their spot on the wait list will be notified of their final decision by the end of July. Students who remain on the wait list will be prompted to indicate their continued interest to OAR, via form. No other materials can be accepted and will not impact their decision.
