Team Member Spotlight
Business analysts, product owners, and other professionals connected on June 23 to enjoy food, refreshments, and interesting discussions at a free networking event at Erin’s Snug Irish Pub in Madison. Attendees included professionals representing state government, higher education, medical software, insurance, healthcare, and more. Some topics discussed ranged from generative AI, agile methodology, project management and business requirements tools, to the past and future of the BA profession. DEM/OSFA’s own Alex White organized and hosted the event as part of his volunteer duties for the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Wisconsin Chapter.
The RO’s Heidi Tuescher-Gille, Anne Eckenrod, and Kelly Norton (as well as Sara CW Sullivan from Cornell) presented on their experiences with career transitions as part of the Women and Leadership Symposium on July 14. The group also gave their presentation, titled “Bold Transitions: Navigating Professional Change in Higher Education,” on July 9 as part of UMACRAO’s ongoing conversation series.
