New W-4s and self-service W-4s coming soon

The IRS developed a new W-4 for 2020, which is scheduled for release at the beginning of December. Employees are not required to complete a new form. You can view the drafted 2020 W-4 form here. If you have questions about this form, you can refer to the IRS FAQ page. W-4 Rollout Timeline

First week of December: IRS finalizes 2020 W-4 form
Wednesday, December 11^th: OHR will accept the current W-4 form until end of day
Friday, December 13^th: OHR will accept 2020 W-4 forms only

We will send more information about the updated 2020 W-4 form when it becomes available. Self-Service Coming Soon In early 2020, employees can update their W-4 information through Employee Self Service W-4 pages made available through the MyUW Portal. At that time, employees will be encouraged to review their W-4 withholding settings. Stay tuned for more detailed communications regarding Employee Self Service W-4 entry.
