While we all are telecommuting, OSFA will be sharing some ideas to boost your mental health during these difficult times. If you know of any videos, podcasts, articles, events, ideas, etc. that would be perfect to include in these emails, please send them along to Erica Tisdale at erica.tisdale@wisc.edu.

One Way to Improve Your Day: Limit your media consumption. Studies show that continuous exposure to negative news and media elevates anxiety and stress, and can even lead to panic. Consider selecting only a few media outlets and scheduling a set time that you consume them daily. Finding a set time and ensuring you are doing something positive afterwards can minimize the anxiety caused from the onslaught of negative news stories.
