Empathy: How do we show others that they are seen, matter, and are not alone? When used in our daily interactions, empathy is the thread that fuels connection, trust, and inclusion. Learn the difference between empathy and sympathy; the varying types of empathy; and practice of deep listening to create space for others’ feelings and experiences. Registration is required and closes on September 17th.  This is an optional session hosted by DEM for team members who are interested. This session count towards the DEI Curriculum and you do not have to attend prior EQ@Work Sessions to register for this session. If you have any questions about this session or the EQ@Work series, please contact Justin Mumford (justin.mumford@wisc.edu).
