From Director A.E. Phillips: Release of Admission Decisions on Wed. March 20

I am pleased to announce my team will release final admission decisions for the freshman cohort for fall 2019 March 20 starting around 7:00 p.m. We ask that you refrain from communicating anything regarding the release of admission decisions until after 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, so all applicants receive their email directing them to access and view their decision. As most of you know, our University received a record-breaking number of undergraduate applications for admission for fall 2019, totaling nearly 44,000. Approximately 16,060 freshman applicants were admitted in our Early Action period and notified in December, 2018. We will release approximately 19,250 freshman decisions as a part of the Regular Decision period and those with a Defer decision from Early Action. Of these decisions, around 7,700 will be Admits and over 3,500 applicants will be offered a spot on the Wait List. Applicants, parents, school officials, etc. will begin to reach out broadly to campus offices regarding specific admissions topics.
