OSFA Creates Opportunities for Transfer Students

Summer 2019 will be the Office of Student Financial Aid’s third summer offering an instantaneous scholarship for any student who transferred in the Spring 2019 term. This scholarship does not require a FAFSA and the student simply needs to enroll in 1 credit in order to receive either $500 (Resident or Minnesota) or $1000 (Non-Resident or International). This initial offering will go to 182 Resident or Minnesota students and 83 Non-Resident or International students. The total offering is slightly down from Summer 2018 (318 vs 265). OSFA will report on yield and final numbers in September. In addition, the Student Employment team continues to work with a variety of partners across campus to offer guaranteed employment opportunities for transfer and Federal Work-Study eligible students this summer.
