Credit evaluation services are getting up and running

The transition of transfer credit evaluation from the Office of Admissions and Recruitment (OAR) to the Office of the Registrar (RO) has begun. Both OAR and the RO have begun meeting to map out the current business processes and the transition of communications. This work will be an ongoing process and collaboration moving forward. This new unit in the CRES section of the RO will be branded as “Credit Evaluation Services” (CES) and will process course credit earned at other college/universities for incoming freshmen and transfer students, as well as re-entry and continuing UW–Madison students. The team will also process test credit such as Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, Advanced Level, and College Level Examination Program for undergraduate students.
