RO welcomes Credit Evaluation Services Team!

Margo Ptacek, Anna Dunn, Jacob Smallegan, and My Linh Do began in their new roles in late October as part of the new Credit Evaluation Services (CES) Team initiative. As previously mentioned, credit evaluation services is transitioning within the Division of Enrollment Management to the Office of the Registrar. While transfer credit remains a recruitment tool, this transition more closely aligns with the mission of the respective offices and will improve the effectiveness of the services both Office of Admissions and Recruitment and the RO offer. Margo Ptacek has worked in the Office of the Registrar for the past 10 years as a residency counselor. She also has significant experience evaluating foreign credentials as an international admissions counselor for UW–Madison’s Office of Admissions and Recruitment, and as a foreign credential evaluator for Educational Credential Evaluators in Milwaukee. Anna Dunn and Jacob Smallegan join us from the Office of Admissions and Recruitment, where both were transfer credit counselors. Both Anna and Jacob bring transfer evaluation experience and university exposure to the team. My Linh Do has been with the university in various roles, most recently as the Office Manager in L&S Student Academic Affairs. My Linh’s campus experiences and connections will be invaluable connecting the team to our academic partners.
