Office of Admissions and Recruitment

Lila Walsh, TE Undergraduate Admissions Administrative Support Lila Walsh is a TE Undergraduate Admissions Administrative Support working in Operations. Lila has her master’s degree in Public Affairs from Washington State University. While Lila, her husband, and 8-year-old daughter are not originally from Wisconsin, it is most definitely their home now. Lila has six years of election administration experience, working at the Wisconsin Elections Commission and later at the Dane County Clerk’s Office. While the good work of elections will always remain close to her professional heart, she is drawn to the UW–Madison campus, to supporting its programs and students. Lila was an Internship Liaison in the spring/summer of 2020 in the wonderful UW–Madison PEOPLE program. She is now enjoying her experience in Admissions and is appreciative of her colleagues’ encouragement of asking questions!   Lindsey Bliefernicht, TE Undergraduate Admissions Administrative Support Lindsey Bliefernicht is a TE Undergraduate Admissions Administrative Support. She has a master’s degree from UW–Madison in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis with a concentration in Global Higher Education. Prior to this position, she worked on campus at International Student Services; International Academic Programs; and the Center for Russia, East Europe, and Central Asia. Feel free to ask her about her time living in Madrid, her 11-year-old golden retriever, or her quarantine hobby of crocheting while watching the Great British Bake Off.   Hanna Roberg, TE Undergraduate Admissions Administrative Support As a Madison native and former UW–Madison employee, Hannah is excited to be joining the Operations team! Before working at UW, she taught English as a foreign language and worked in international education abroad in Spain and with the Fulbright in Russia. Then she served as the Electrical and Computer Engineering Graduate Student Services Coordinator in the UW–Madison College of Engineering for two years. Between her time at the College of Engineering and now, she pursued her own graduate education, earning her master’s. With a background in higher education and experience with graduate admissions, she looks forward to focusing on undergraduate admissions in this role! In addition, feel free to ask her about surviving winter in Siberia, her dog Chloe who is a coffee-addict (she sneaks it every morning), or planning her annual cousin cabin weekend for 24 people (not in COVID-19 years, though).   Kaitlyn Pennoyer, TE Undergraduate Admissions Administrative Support As an alumna of UW–Madison for undergraduate and graduate school, she has a really impressive collection of red t-shirts. She enjoys hiking with her dog, sand volleyball, gardening, and visiting the local library. One of her more thrilling moments while working at UW–Madison was participating in a Sweet Corn Taste Test Panel with the Food Application Lab last fall. She now considers herself a corn connoisseur.
