Regular Decision Release for Freshmen on April 2

On February 26, we contacted our Regular Decision applicants, students who received a defer decision in Early Action, and all high school and secondary school counselors to inform them that we would be releasing RD decisions on April 2. This year we received a record number of applications for our fall 2021 freshman class, including an increased number of applications in our Regular Decision period. Despite our team working overtime to review applications, the additional two days will allow us the needed time to give all applications the full consideration they deserve. Above all else is our commitment to provide a complete, holistic review of each applicant. An increased desire to be transparent with our applicants on when they could expect decisions and to get that information to them as soon as possible was the driver in getting this email out to our students, their families, and their counselors. We hope that anxiety will be eased for students and families to know the date they will receive their decision, which has never been shared before. The Office of Admissions and Recruitment is unable to discuss individual decisions ahead of our Regular Decision release, however, our office is here to help answer questions regarding decisions once they have been released.
