Spring Programming for High School Counselors
Starting April 6, 2021, the Office of Admission and Recruitment will be conducting a series of virtual presentations for high school counselors, community-based organizations, and independent educational consultants.
These seven virtual events will provide admissions and campus updates, discuss recent class profiles and trends, and highlight academic and financial aid opportunities for students. Current WAVs (Wisconsin Admissions Volunteers) will be in attendance to share their UW–Madison experience. A mock admissions case study will be held for counselors in Wisconsin.
We are excited to partner with our Office of Student Financial Aid colleagues for the Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois events.
The information sessions are targeted to high school/ secondary school counselor populations in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, across the US , and around the world, and to US-based independent educational consultants.
These counselor events support our office goals of engagement with community partners and furthering relationships between our admissions representatives and high school counterparts, as well as recruitment and student support initiatives.
