Up in the clouds at the Alliance conference

In March, Amy Landgren, Sarah Stilp, Priya Sachithanandam and Leslie Gardner attended Alliance 2022 in Seattle, WA. Alliance is the annual, member-driven conference for higher education and public sector professionals to share knowledge, collaborate, and become inspired regardless of product or platform. This group of attendees, along with Karen Ripley of Division of Continuing Studies, has been working on Oracle’s Student Cloud product for the past three years. Leslie and Karen presented on the university’s progress implementing Oracle’s Student Management Cloud product for our Non-Credit Pre College audience. The conference was notably more focused on Cloud (SaaS) and getting campuses ready to implement Student Cloud systems. RO team members attended both Workday Student and Oracle Student sessions to learn more about cloud readiness planning on campus. PeopleSoft is supported through 2032, and while that may change, ten years is not that far away for such a large transition.
