Coming Soon – Reduced Cost Housing eForm

There will be a new form of affordable housing for our students, which will open in 2024, at Oliv Madison.   The Core Space development is making 10% (i.e. 112 beds) of its beds available at a 40% discounted rate through an agreement with the University of Wisconsin–Madison and the city.  OSFA has agreed to a memorandum of understanding with Core Spaces to support UW–Madison students with financial need in applying for and receiving reduced-cost housing at the Oliv Madison Project. So, this summer a new eForm is being launched to allow student to provide authorization for OSFA to inform the developer that the student qualifies for reduced housing, in which the developer will receive an automatic email that states the student’s eligibility for reduced housing.  Currently, there is only one participating building—Oliv Madison; however, we expect that more developers will be offering a discounted rate so the form as been designed to scale as more private developers participate in this program for our students.
