Fall 2023 Experience Wisconsin Open House Events

The Office of Admissions & Recruitment is offering two Experience Wisconsin Open House prospective student events on Monday, October 9 and Friday, October 20. These are full-day visit programs that offer prospective students and families a glimpse into a variety of opportunities and resources available at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. We have 29 campus partners offering programming on both days, and the Office of Admissions is offering both student panels and admissions information sessions.  

For the first time, we are offering an Open House on a Monday, Indigenous People Day, which is a statewide holiday in Illinois. On this day last year, we saw approximately 1200 visitors on our campus, so we decided to make it an official Experience Wisconsin Open House Day. Our second day is Friday, October 20, and we anticipate guests from across Minnesota, Madison public schools, and Milwaukee public schools, who have that day off.

We look forward to these robust visit days, and if you’re on campus, you will be bound to see our guests walking around with their Wisconsin lanyards and red tote bags!
