Enrollment Deposit Deadline Extended to May 15

The University of Wisconsin–Madison continues to closely monitor the impacts of the national FAFSA® data delay for students and their families and remain committed to ensuring that students receive the information needed as quickly as possible, once we receive their FAFSA®. We understand that these students and their families and supporters may need additional time to receive, understand, and consider their financial aid offer before making a final decision to attend UW–Madison. As a result, we will be extending our deadline to May 15, 2024, for students to accept their offer of admission and to submit their on-campus housing contract. While they do not need to wait until May 15 to make a final decision, we hope that this allow our admitted students the time needed to make an educated financial decision and ensure the best student experience possible. We have emailed all admitted first-year students, their families/supporters, and all high school counselors and updating our digital communications, social media, website, and emails to reflect the deadline change.
