The DEM Community Task Force is an adaptation of the previous DEI Focus Group that has representation from across the Division to develop an inclusive ecosystem that prioritizes an understanding of how team members unique identities contribute to the organizational culture. Its priority is to establish an inclusive environment in DEM and to honor the identities of DEM team members.
DEM Community Task Force members will meet monthly and be asked to give their insight into important initiatives across DEM as we continue on our roadmap to a culture of belonging. The first initiative the task force will work on is creating standard language for accepting feedback, recognizing the contributions of others, and acknowledging microaggressions.
