ELE at ALE – Not just Alphabet Soup!

Kari Temkin (OSFA) partnered with colleagues at the Center for Leadership and Involvement to present about the Engaged Leaders Through Employment Program at the Association of Leadership Educators conference in Minneapolis on July 15.  Participants at this conference ranged from leadership researchers, educators, and practitioners. The session was well received and even piqued future research questions some attendees. ELE intentionally integrates leadership development into the student employment experience across campus. Through 1:1 consultations,  Kari and Mao Thao (CfLI) coach colleagues across campus who supervise students in using the UW Leadership Framework to identify, cultivate, and reflect on leadership experiences and learning through work.  Feel free to connect with Kari if you’re interested to learn more!
