DEM team members continuing work to plan for Workday implementation impacts

As the implementation of Workday continues, the Division of Enrollment Management (DEM) and external Student Information System (SIS) partners are meeting regularly to understand and plan for the impacts coming with the introduction of Workday Human Resource and Finance to the SIS environment. One area of focus remains the alignment of the Academic Department structure and the impact of replacing its underlying UDDS structure. SIS Leadership, external SIS partners, and a few key players from ATP have met multiple times to discuss the existing challenges and next steps. These groups will continue to collaborate on finding a path that works for everyone; we will be sure to provide an update once a solution has been reached. The Cross-DEM/SIS workgroup continues to regularly meet to collaborate on the planning, testing, and implementation of the changes that will be impacting the SIS environment and the downstream ancillary systems. Now that the first phase of our PICH replacement solution has been delivered, coordinated testing efforts can kick off that help lay the foundation for implementing changes to impacted downstream systems.
