Progress continues in anticipation of Workday implementation

Team members across the Division of Enrollment Management (DEM) continue to make progress on several SIS-related fronts in anticipation of the upcoming Finance and HR Workday implementation. The Cross-DEM/SIS workgroup meets regularly to collaborate on the planning, testing, and implementation of the changes that will be impacting the SIS environment and the downstream ancillary systems.

Latest Progress

Since May, code packages for our PICH replacement solution (PASS – Person API Steam Service), Federal Work Study inbound and outbound data, and the FDM loader have now been delivered and installed. Now, the focus is on coordinated testing efforts of these solutions to lay the foundation for impacted downstream systems.

Looking Ahead

The alignment of the Academic Department structure and the impact of replacing its underlying UDDS structure remains a focus area. The UDDS Path Forward workgroup continues to meet to explore links between PeopleSoft Academic Orgs & Cost Center Hierarchy while ATP is building out an agreed-upon prototype. The workgroup is identifying use cases and mocking up reports related to each use case.
